Why “Shoreline”?

(This newsletter was previously sent out to our email subscribers. To receive updates the moment they happen, consider subscribing via our home page.)

When I started designing the Laguna two years ago, I would imagine driving it on gorgeous, twisting coastal roads that offered breathtaking views and a rewarding drive. Scenes from the Amalfi Coast, French Riviera, and California’s Highway One became the environment in which we envisioned our cars.

This clear vision of Laguna in its natural habitat helped us define our brand. Our focus is on creating a tailored automotive experience that gave our cars enough character to feel like a genuine relation in your life, rather than something you use. The name Shoreline Bespoke Vehicles perfectly fit our mission: to manufacture built-to-order cars with styling, engineering and craftsmanship that exude automotive passion - enough to make them feel alive. Or as well call it, kinetic art.

Our logo is pure California and embodies our timeless spirit. The California Grizzly makes an appearance just as it does on the state flag, signifying our location of origin. The shape – an inverted crest – draws inspiration from the signage of the historic California Highway One, also known as Shoreline highway. The two-tone motif is split by a curving shoreline and represents a coastal road – the natural habitat of our cars.
